General terms

General Information

All yoga activities are organized or hosted by Anjali Shala, represented by Sergine Laloux, located at 215 rue de la Victoire in 1060 Saint Gilles.

  • These general terms apply to all participants, referred to as “students,” meaning any individual who has subscribed to a course offered by Anjali Shala. Purchasing a class pass, a package, or any other activity implies full acceptance of these general terms by the student.

  • Anjali Shala’s students acknowledge that they have read the general terms and agree to abide by them. Students who do not wish to be bound by these terms may not participate in Anjali Shala’s activities.

  • These general terms may be amended or supplemented at any time.

Students’ Commitments

Students confirm that they are 18 years older and understand the physical requirements and risks associated with practicing Ashtanga and Vinyasa yoga.

  • The student declares that they have no medical restrictions preventing them from participating in such yoga activities and, if requested by Anjali Shala’s manager, provide a doctor’s certificate confirming their fitness for Ashtanga yoga.

  • The student also agrees to take all necessary precautions for their health and safety, listen to their body, and follow instructions given by teachers during classes.

  • An annual insurance fee of €5 is mandatory, which covers students in case of an accident during yoga classes. This insurance is provided through ABEPY (Belgian Association of Yoga Teachers and Practitioners) with Ethias.

  • Students agree to adhere to the internal regulations at the end of these general terms.

Activity Offerings

  • Prices for activities are listed on the website [www.anjalishala-yogas.be](http://www.anjalishala-yogas.be) in euros, including taxes. Anjali Shala reserves the right to modify prices at any time. The applicable rates are those in effect on the date of purchase.

  • Anyone wishing to participate in an Anjali Shala activity must first purchase a class pass or a monthly subscription. Single activities (private classes, workshops, etc.) must be paid for in advance or on-site.

  • Purchases can be made by bank transfer to Sergine Laloux (details on the website) using the following communication: “First Name + Last Name + type,” or in cash with the instructor.

  • Purchases for classes offered by other teachers must be paid directly to those teachers.

  • Purchases with Anjali Shala are final. Except for special cases, no refunds are offered for cancellations due to change of mind, injury, illness, relocation, or other reasons.

  • Anjali Shala reserves the right to occasionally or permanently cancel or modify a scheduled class or adjust the timetable during certain periods (annual holidays, retreats abroad, training, etc.), and will notify students through communication channels (website, newsletter, email, WhatsApp group).

  • Purchases with Anjali Shala are personal and non-transferable. Closure periods or class cancellations are factored into the validity of purchases.

Cancellation Policy

  • If a student is unable to attend a registered class, they are asked to cancel their participation via message at least 12 hours before the class starts to make the spot available for other participants. If not canceled within this timeframe, the class will be counted as attended.
